☾my NIGHTLY routine☾

Hiii what's up?? Today I'll be going over my nighttime routine including skincare, stretching, food, vitamins, the all of it. SOOO let's get into it!

First around 9-10 PM I start my absolute favorite trashy reality tv show Married At First Sight with my mom. Just btw season 10 is the season I'm on right now and it is so freaking GOOD! Anyway, then I make my tea with English Breakfast Tea and almond milk. I absolutely love tea. Like it's high key an addiction.

Then I get out a yoga mat and do my foot strengthing exercises and stretches. The set up is on your back with legs bent. So, first I do 8 ankle circles out on the right foot then 8 ankle circles in on the right. Then 4 out, then 4 in, 2 out, 2 in, 1 out, 1 in, 1 out, 1 in. Then the same thing on the left. This really opens up my ankles and gets them warm. Even if you aren't a dancer or do ballet this is a great thing to do. Next, straighten your right leg first and flex the foot and carry it an inch off of the floor, the point your foot and bring it up to about 45 degrees off the floor/level with your other knee. Do this 8 times. After that do the left side. Flex your foot at the 45 degrees position and turn your foot in and out 16 times right and left. Then do all the exercises over again!! Your shins will burn but it is worth it really.

After that, I just watch my show lol until it's over. So then I eat my vitamins which is a Biotin pill, an Iron Deficiency pill, and a Melatonin pill. I eat those right before I go to bed with orange juice because orange juice helps your body absorb iron better which my blood needs. I take the melatonin for sleep (duh) because it is so hard for me to go to bed without it. The Biotin pill is for hair, skin, and nails. The main reason I got that was that my nails were all brittle and were really hard to grow. I also use a vitamin E serum on my nails and cuticles for the same reason. These have tremendously helped me and I highly recommend it!!

Then it's on to skincare. Most of my products are from glossier but there are some from various other places.
First, I use the milk jelly cleanser that I don't use to take off makeup, but it does really well take off makeup and cleanse and clean my pores. I love it so much because it doesn't dry my skin as much as most and doesn't burn my sensitive eyes. I after that use the Glossier moisturizer/primer that is gentle and hydrating. This combo really works for me. Inbetween the cleanser and the moisturizer, I use a DIY sugar lip scrub that I will probably do a post on. It is perfect for my cracky lips. I also sometimes use a Glossier toner like once a week that is my favorite toner.

After all that, I use a spot cream for specific red spots and pimples.
The kind I use is from Neutrogena that's Benzoyl Peroxide. This is perfect for sensitive skin and you put it on overnight and in the morning they are a HUGE improvement. It doesn't dry out your skin or leave it feeling crust at all.

That's basically all of my skincare routine! After that, I go back to my room and turn on my fairy lights and put on a couple drops of lavender essential on my pulse points which for me I put them on the inside of my wrists, under my nose, and right behind my ears. Lavender promotes restful and deep sleep. Then I do my reading which currently is the book Lush by Natasha Friend. This is the second book from this series although not in the top 3, it's still really good. I'll probably do a book suggestion post soon and show y'all my top books. Nevertheless, I like them a lot!!

When I can't sleep I do the rosary, take deep breathes with breathing through one nostril then the other, or do some yoga or meditation.

And that's about it! I hope you enjoyed this post and learned something from my routine! remember to follow and comment to see more of me!  xoxoxo Keep Smiling!
