👟how to easily make shoes new using things you have👟

Hey everyone and welcome to today's post! How are we feeling today, really? Well, I know that when my crusty old shoes are cleaned I feel so much better so let's clean them today! This method works on all shoes with a shiny exterior like leather or whatever. This doesn't work on cotton or anything made with fabric type material. This works for Adidas, air forces, the bottom outer rim of vans or converse, and anything else like that! So let's get cleaning!

WHAT WILL YOU NEED:
  1. baking soda
  2. water
  3. dawn soap
  4. a paper towel
  5. toothbrush or sponge or anything with bristles or bumpiness (HERE'S the one I use)
  6. a large towel to put below your shoes while your cleaning
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. In a very small bowl, we will mix up the baking soda, dawn, and water. So my measurements aren't very exact because you can't really go wrong with making this lol. But I do 1 or 2 splashes of water, half a tbsp of dawn soap, and like 2 tbsp of baking soda. This is the correct amount for one pair of shoes.
  2. Mix this up until the baking soda has dissolved and the water is slightly blue and foamy.
  3. Take your brush or sponge or whatever and get is a little wet and dab some baking soda on it
  4. Take the laces out of your shoes and set them aside
  5. Then dip it into the mixture from step 1/2 and make sure you have a LOT of the mixture on your sponge or whatever
  6. Now just freely brush against your shoes applying some pressure. Play around with it and see what works for you. For me, I will do it section by section. If there are wrinkles make sure to get in the cresses. Remember to hold the shoe at a ton of angles because there are spots that are easily missed
  7. Now compare the now clean shoe to the shoe you will clean next. Good job!! Now clean the second shoe
  8. The last step is lace them and you're done!!
TIPS:
  1. Look up cool laces designs. There are a ton of cute and easy ones especially on Pinterest like THIS one and buy new laces in bulk so they are super cheap and come in many designs!
  2. Add a little baking soda on your shoes after you clean them with a tiny bit of water and rub that in to make sustainable cleanness.
