✰⋆chit chat time: school, quarantine, birthday plans⋆✰

Hi everyone! So this blog post is just going to be a little chit chat with me! I am excited to do this cuz I realize that you guys don't really know that much about me. So it's kind of going to be a podcast kind of deal happening. So let's get started!

I'm writing this on Wednesday, August 19th; 3 days till my birthday! yay! I'm going to be spending my actual birthday with my mom and my family, the day before my birthday I'm going to be going out for dinner with my best friends! It's only going to be the three of us going out to dinner because we had to keep it small because of the COVID-19 thing, but still, I think it'll be super fun! 2 days before my birthday I'm going to be getting my hair colored so I am actually ecstatic about that! My hair right now is a couple of inches below my shoulders, a light brown with old highlights that are grown out, and with the edges a little uneven because this was a quarantine cut (which means my mom did it)

I'm also on that day taking my first ever piano lesson. I'm super excited! I love the way that piano and I love seeing covers of piano and stuff. I hope I continue doing piano a while until I can get good. I used to do guitar but I kind of gave up on that one... The woman whose teaching me is my little brother's best friend's mom so at least I know she's nice!

Anyway, my birthday is coming up and my brother's is coming up too! Is 5 days after mine. My school starts on the day of his birthday. Oh, school. I'm excited about school because I think I have more structure and feel more productive once school is happening, but it is still school and homework. My least favorite part of the school year is the beginning because we are still getting into routines and stuff. At least this year I know everyone in my class.

My school, like many others, is going to be doing the first quarter online at least. I work up in my room which is a nice space because it has my bed in there and windows for good lighting. During the class is zooms we always text each other and try to make the other person laugh while they're on camera hahaha!! IDK about your school, but my school has really been taking advantage of the online thing. My last year's teacher wasn't very good with tech and stuff and the immature boys had a hay day with that one **eye roll** but anyway, i'm excited to see my friends again! Also my school has kind of only assigned projects instead of a bunch of little assignments. I kind of like that because projects tend to be more fun. Last year we had to make a house plan and it was so hard! But I loved that teacher, so it was okay... 

But, yeah, our birthdays are really close but we've never shared a party which people are always so surprised about! I'm spending my actual birthday with my mom shopping and Spa and a bunch of stuff! If you've read a lot of my blogs, you know that I don't shop a lot. Not because I don't want to, but because I'm afraid of buying anything lol! I digress, but after that, I'm going to have dinner with my grandma and grandpa and my family which is always fun! My family has a lot of family dinners with like my grandparents, which is always such a surprise to everyone too! I guess it's weird for everyone to come and physically sit at the same table and just talk... During in quarantine, however, we have had a lot less of family dinners because we're literally always around everyone all the time!! Like what are we going to talk about! We're always around each other. Every single second. Of every day!!! But still, my family has been doing some, especially outdoors right now because it's really hot in Oregon. We've also been doing family dinners outside because of the pool that we just got. It's an above ground pool that I have been living in recently! We use a special cover so the water isn't icy cold when we get in, and it's literally the best thing ever! Omg, I love it so much. Quick flex there lol

Recently, I don't know about you, but staying in a house with five other people is so hard right now! Everyone is just all together! And I know a lot of people had struggles with this in the beginning of quarantine, but for me it's only started now. We've also had a bunch of people having to work on our house like plumbing and stuff, so I've felt awkward around the workers in our house hahaha
